Devin Dreitlein, MHC, Psychotherapist

Devin Dreitlein, MHC, earned her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Old Westbury. She has experience providing therapeutic treatment in a variety of settings, including mental health clinics, residential treatment for eating disorders and private practice settings working with adults, children, adolescents and families.

Devin brings a positive and person-centered approach to her clinical work while incorporating integrative and evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Based, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Play Therapy and is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). She has experience serving those experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiance disorder (ODD), addiction, trauma related disorders (i.e. PTSD), eating disorders, separation/divorce, family conflict, and social skill issues.

In addition to her clinical background, Devin is also a Certified Aromatherapist accredited though National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). She is also a certified yoga instructor and Reiki Practitioner. Devin supports clients of all ages to nurture the mind-body connection, so they can move forward to release negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, patterns and traumas.

Devin can be described as warm and empathetic, fostering a positive environment to help empower her clients to gain tools for lasting change. She believes everyone deserves a safe, non-judgmental space where they are able to move through obstacles and experience personal growth and healing. Devin helps her clients to become comfortable and confident in navigating life’s challenges, thriving as their true authentic selves.
