Therapy for Emotional, Behavioral and Spiritual GROWTH

Have you been feeling depressed or consumed with anxiety?

Is your work or your relationship/work/school causing you stress?

Are you finding it difficult to adjust to a significant life transition?

Maybe you are looking for personal growth? Or feel stuck and overwhelmed?

You’re not alone, and we can help.

What is individual therapy and how can it help me?

Individual therapy is when you meet one-on-one with a mental health professional (therapist, clinician). Our therapists at New Hope Rising Therapy and Wellness Center will support you to address the difficulties and personal challenges you are experiencing. By addressing these struggles with your therapist, you can begin to approach problems in new ways, stop negative thinking patterns, and re-establish a sense of hope, enlightenment, and fulfillment in your life. We strive to create a safe, supportive and confidential environment in which we can help you gain a better understanding of yourself, empower you to take charge of your life and encourage change and personal growth.

Whether you’re struggling with the pain of the past, worry about the future or a general sense that there must be more to life, our team of skilled and passionate licensed therapists can help you gain a perspective on your life. This awareness can enable you to resolve current issues and navigate challenges as they arise. It is possible to lead a brighter, more balanced life.

How does individual therapy work?

We believe in a whole-person approach to treatment. At your initial appointment, you and your therapist will begin the process of getting to know each other. Your therapist will complete an initial assessment, gathering your background information and beginning to evaluate the nature and severity of the challenges you’ve been experiencing. Individual therapy sessions last between 45-60 minutes.

At NHR Therapy and Wellness Center, we recognize the importance of treating each client as an individual with unique needs and preferences. We will ensure that you are connected with the right therapist to help you create the lasting change you desire in your life.

The client-therapist relationship

Perhaps the most important factor for success in therapy is the relationship between the client and their therapist. At New Hope Rising Therapy and Wellness Center we view therapy as a collaborative experience where the therapist and client work as a team to decide together what the goals will be and what actions to take.
