Regina Savarese, LCSW, Psychotherapist

Regina Savarese, LCSW, MPA is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the human services field since 2002, supporting individuals from a variety of backgrounds to reach their goals and full potential. Her clinical experience includes providing individual, group and family therapy in outpatient clinics, as well as home and community-based settings. She has also served in roles of service coordination, education advocacy, as well as program administration, development and oversight of various youth enrichment programs.

Regina is certified in Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy and Person-Centered Planning. 

As a therapist, Regina recognizes the inherent worth of each individual and seeks to understand every client as the unique person they are, with distinct experiences and personal qualities that have helped to shape their lives. Regina’s passion and life’s work is to connect with people and support them to become the best versions of themselves. 

With particular expertise in working with adolescents, Regina is also well-versed in working with people across the lifespan and understands the impact and unique challenges of different life stages.  Her areas of focus with youth and adults include anxiety, depression, mood regulation, relationship distress, peer and family conflict and resolution, self-harm, substance use, and LGBTQ issues. Regina has worked with adolescents experiencing homelessness, involvement in the juvenile justice system, foster care, and out of home placements. She has also served clients who are caregivers, survivors of traumatic brain injury and those who are differently-abled. 

Regina incorporates a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities to meet the individual needs of her clients, including cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, family systems therapy, and mindfulness techniques.  She supports clients in identifying and overcoming blockages, such as unproductive cognitive beliefs or behavioral practices, to develop new patterns of thought and action to prevail in their lives.  Regina creates a safe, trusting space and utilizes a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to assist clients in feeling heard and understood so that they can build clarity and find direction.
